Took the Words…
… right outta my mouth. This guy expresses my feelings about ‘friendly’ atheism better than I can, so please read HIS blog. You can do that here.
Saw this on Reddit. Loved it.
Can I get a witness?!
Dudes, and dudettes… I finally figured out how to check the pageview stats for the blog! That being said, I know there are folks a least LOOKING at this. Please leave me a COMMENT! I am an attention whore!
::sigh:: Not really, but I would like to get a damn comment on this blog before I put it all on Myspace. I don’t want to put it there, but I’m really looking for comments and friends and shit… Goodness.
Actually, I’m gonna go put this on Myspace right now. I’ll have some pictures up soon too, I swear. I just have to find my camera! Ahhh!
You guys, I’ve recently been displaced. I’m not from Alabama, but damn it that’s where I’ve ended up. I am not happy about it, either. Somebody drop a girl a line. I love to talk, if you hadn’t noticed.
Ja,
Lara
Blasphemy Challenge!
Hello! My name is Lara Franklin, and I deny the existence of any God(s), Jesus, and/or the Holy Spirit.
On this same note, let me ask this: If Christianity is supposedly a monotheistic faith… why the Trinity? Not only that, what’s up with saints? You make idols of them (Mary) and pray to them… Christianity is polytheism at it’s best! (Or worst!)
Anywhoo, some friends have arrived, so we’re gonna play Wii and hit the bong. Nighty!
Hi, my name is…
Well, here I was getting ahead of myself with that story post, and I haven’t told you anything about ME!
My name is Lara, and I live in the deep South. Ok, not the DEEP South… N. Alabama. I’m a 22 year-old woman, but I still consider myself a girl. Mostly because I look and feel very young, but partly because I am in denial about getting older. Ahh, denial. And I am one hot, sexy lady if I may say so.
I’m actually about to buy a house, so I guess in that sense I AM a woman, but anywhoo…
I have a black cat named Ozzy who is my baby. I smush him. And by smush I mean love. He’s my cuddle bunny. I’ll have pictures up soon!
I love to write fanifiction based on various manga/anime, and I LOVE to cosplay. It’s like Halloween whenever there’s a Con! Call me a freak… but I’m an awesome freak.
I also like to write short little stories about things like sex. PWP: Plot, what plot? Or Porn without plot. I am such a fangirl, and such a perv!
Hmm… well… I’m about 5′6″, 110, brown hair and eyes… uhh…
Yeah, so that’s about all you need to know about me for now. I’m sure you’re all eagerly await the PWP now, so I’ll get crackin’. (Note: if you’re offended by things like written descriptions of fictional incest, or written descriptions of my real fantasies… well, you’re dumb, but you may also want to avoid my stories in the near future!)
I smush you all,
Lara
A Million Things in the Moonlight
This is a short story I wrote quite some time ago. Mai Otome, somewhere between episodes 14 and 18… yeah. Anyway, if you know what Mai Otome is, you know the scene with which I am taking such liberties. I know how it went, this is just wishful thinking on my part, and very brief. And I will be attempting another short story, definitely a bit more ‘adult’. Enjoy!
“By using the Blue Planet as our guide
Take me and dear Princess by my side,
Through a thousand stars and ten thousand nights,
Toward the Golden Era of Light.”
Major Sergey Wang, in profile in the bright summer moon, could not possibly understand Arkia Yumemiya’s feelings at the present moment. No, she was a fifteen-year-old girl, and he was… well, she was sure he was much older than her, and besides, she didn’t even quite know what she was feeling herself! All she knew was that her heart had lept in her chest as he recited the poem, and now she was hoping he would guide her along the right path, as it were, like he had done so many times in the past.
“Haven’t you heard it? It’s an excerpt from a poem by the first pilot that landed here.”
“Never,” Arika shook her head and turned to the wrought-iron fence as her heart beat a bit faster, “but it’s lovely. A Blue Planet that guides us.” Her gaze travelled upward to the small blue speck beside the moon. She could feel Sergey’s eyes on her, so she turned her face to him. And he was staring right at her chest!
Arika let out a slightly startled ‘oh!’, then put a hand to her breast. Oh, how had she forgotten about it? The Sapphire of the Azure Sky. Of course that was what he was looking at. He wouldn’t be caught dead looking at her ‘poor breasts’, she thought with a touch of melancholy.
“You figured it out?” the Major asked.
“Yup. That she attained both her dreams and love.” It was true, wasn’t it? And if Rena could do it… she could too, some day.
“Love, eh?” Sergey’s voice dropped a note lower, but Arika didn’t notice. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Was there something he should say? Should he tell her Otome can never find love, that love would destroy her dream? He wasn’t ready to break this vibrant, upbeat girl’s heart… but there was no other choice, was there?
“Arika, I-”
He felt small fingers curl around the sleeve of his shirt, then Arika was turning him to face her. When she looked up at him, a bright blush was spreading rapidly across her cheeks.
“I-” she cut herself off and was only able to stare at him, face burning with shame, and embarrassment, and… and… some strange feeling that seemed to be originating in her most private of places. She looked away, discouraged by Sergey’s silence.
His face softened, and he cupped her cheek. Poor Arinko. She wanted to be an Otome, and she wanted to find love.
He only thought about it for a second, perhaps two, but by the time an objection crossed his mind Sergey’s lips were brushing lightly across the fiery redhead’s. He felt her tense momentarily, but the gentle caress of his thumb on her cheek soothed her. He pulled away when his thoughts began to turn from rather chaste to alarmingly devious.
In the pale moonlight she was beautiful, and innocent, and beguiling, and a million things between and more.
Sergey left Arika slightly dazed and confused, knowing what the future held but still grasping for something more. The one thing he could not give her. But if any Otome could find love, surely it was the Sapphire of the Azure Sky.
Escriba al papel…
Awesome, you guys, awesome. Welcome to my blog, where you can hear the faint :pingpingping: of my thoughts whizzing around my brain. Later tonight I’ll post my first bit of prose for your enjoyment… as long as what you enjoy are short stories about Mai Otome! But first, sushi for me. Mmm, tasty.
